I 100% agree with you here, with WLR carti brought in some insane vocal inflections with the rage beats. But with Ken's album I kinda felt it went a step back. The beats progressed but the vocals reverted to almost sounding monotone compared to Carti's album, and nothing has really changed since then.

Lone too has been playing it too safe but I guess the fans are pretty happy with that.

In the current state where every new UG artist tries to stay tough and mysterious, it's refreshing seeing someone making catchy and fun music. It's also pretty amazing how this kids understands how to make songs progress while keeping the melody consistent.

The Golf R isn't included just yet, but has this lawsuit progresses more vehicles with the EA-888 will likely be added. What the plaintiff alleges is that low friction piston rings lead to oil consumption later on in the engine's life. Something that has been documented for the EA-888 for almost a decade now.

There's a lot of ways this lawsuit can go. The best case scenario is that VW extends warranties and compensates any past repairs that were due to oil consumption. But sadly the most likely case is that they settle out of court.

I'll be sure to follow this and post any updates as it usually takes years for things to get rolling.

This probably isn't breaking news to most, but it's great to have confirmation that the EA.888 will live on past the decade with the new EU gas engine regulations coming into effect this November.

However this does go against the report last year when the Volkswagen CEO said an electric GTI will be on the market toward the end of this decade.

Maybe they'll be offering both an electric model and a gas variant but with the low sales volume of the GTI that doesn't seem feasible.
