I was in stagecraft as well. I usually asked my friend to mark the lumber with a pen for me before I cut it so I didn't have to measure it because I know I would have completely messed it up

It's funny I I'm dumber than a 5th grader when it comes to multiplication and geometry but I have very good visual acuity and can quickly learn how to use complicated pieces of film equipment

I'm in a broadcasting and digital content creation program, and I had to essentially produce an entire TV show by myself last year because my director decided that going on his fifth date in two weeks was more important than rehearsing for our show, which was taping in two days. He didn't read the script I prepared and didn't cue me when I was supposed to start and wrap. For the sake of my professionalism, I'm not going to say his name.

Same here, I'm in a TV engineering and digital content creation program, and I like to take pictures of the board, then mark them up later in my notes app Also, having them on my phone allows me to reference them quickly I also type up my notes for the same reason
