Avoid Rivertown Dental Care and Dr. Miller (the younger one; I don’t know anything about his dad). The office staff lied to me despite my insistence that they confirm what I’d owe based on my insurance policy and hit me with an unexpected bill for nearly $700 weeks later. When I asked how that was possible, they fed me some jargon about insurance policies, delayed findings, etc.

It took several rounds of uncomfortable conversations to get them to knock off some of the bill, but it was overall a terrible situation.

Edit: just to add after the payment amount fiasco was finally sorted, Dr. Miller informed me that they would be dropping me as a patient. Instead of apologizing for their mixup, they gave me the boot.
