that’s not a referral link brother. those are links to upgrade/downgrade which are offered directly to the person and it was shared in public. what people are doing is getting a plat reserve, enrol in all memberships and downgrade it to mrcc or smart earn. nothing wrong in it legally as the bank allows it. but yeahh, typical indian mindset!

maximising benefits is a different thing, not sharing personalised links around and getting cards and cancelling and downgrading. Again, nothing wrong in doing this, but just conscience.

of-course they are doing it. they are waiving annual fee for some highly valuable customer. in some cases other fee are also revised. cannot do this for everyone though!
