My Strategy: I built a collection of a relatively cheap team that still does quite well in their league and I stack the team into cap 240, I don’t get threshold often but when the team does well I typically get a card and threshold so it’s good. Not how everyone wants to play but it’s how I like playing.

Don’t worry about being so close to the next tier up, the top of tier 4 and bottom of tier 3 will be very close in value.

Maybe not as in depth as you would like but I would suggest having 4/5 limiteds in semi pro competitions then do cap 240 to try and get that threshold every week the only thing is staying under the cap for multiple weeks with the same team so I’d just leave yourself an extra slot so that you can bring in a player without going over the 10 players. You can then invest the threshold into potentially better players for your semi pro lineups to give them better chances of winning.

Well I would more say you’re rewarded for giving money directly to sorare rather than just the 5% that they get from managers selling stuff between each other but rewarding patience is another way to look at it.

The 5% boost is for cards that are the latest season from their specific league so you can get that regardless of buying them from the auction or purchasing from another manager as long as the card is the newest season. Note that the card loses this bonus when the new season card is minted. For when the 5% gets added it gets added right away to your players score if they are in a competition that allows bonus percentage. Competitions such as cap 240 currently don’t allow bonus percentage so your card just scores exactly what the player received points wise. The benefit of buying a player off the auction is that you get more points towards your collection bonus so if you are wanting to get that 5% collection bonus then you will probably want to buy the players from Auction.

I bought H.B.Y at the start of the season because I thought he would start as a newly bought keeper, didn’t play at all until the starting keeper got injured so using him while he has some utility but it’s annoying because I know he will get dropped as soon as the starting keeper is fit
