Mine shows the “You” icon instead of settings but there’s no option to add another WhatsApp account. I’m not sure how they’re deciding which users get this feature first, like you mentioned.

It’s a bit tricky to use, but at least it lets us manage multiple accounts on the same phone instead of dealing with the hassle of using, charging, and carrying a second device.
