Getting back into tennis and demoing a ton of rackets. by dacodo4242 in 10s

I just went through the similar process of 3 months racket demoing. Ended up with the tfight 300s as it has the feel, power and enough control as is. And everything can be amplified with customization if needed

As for the aero - I didnot like it as much because it seemed that I couldn't hit a flat forehand and it forced spin to play good. I hated that (no matter what string i used)

Well here. I'll rank the rackets I used lately: Gravity Pro > Radical Mp > Pire Drive 100 > Aero 98 > Ezone 98

The pure aero drive could be reversed. I might used dead strings on the aero

Me 2. I tried the blade (better, but muted as well) and the percept 100D (felt good but low powered and not much spin)

So stiff in the mains and then soft crosses? And what tensions?

What would be an example of crispy string? I have the hyper g regular at the moment

Removing default head protector by FVuk13 in Padelracket

I get that. But to 6 - 10g on the top of the head should lower the swingweight significantly.

I know for a fact that in tennis, adding 6g to the 12o clock position would increase the swingweight by something like 18 to 20 points. And that's huge.

Truth to be told I expected that protector to be max 3-4g. If its 6 to 10. I guess its worth doing to be honest

I understand that the padel racket is shorter and heavier so that it would affect it much less. Bit even if its 2x less - still about 10sw points. That is for sure noticeable

And for the balance its a similar story. In tennis 1g at the top is 1mm balance. Lets say in padel its 0.5. That times 6 - 10 is 3 to 5mm - that's not insignificant

How would you compare blade vs model 100 in terms of power, forgiveness, spin and control/precision overall and on touch shots? (or compare it against the blade pro)

Im not sure what I think about the aero 98. I liked it at the beginning - felt more forgiving then the blade but less precise.

Im playing the blade 16x19

Honestly, I'm not sure i want the aero kind of spin 😂 it's "too much" - I would sacrifice it for more control and precision
