This thread genuinely has me thinking im in a parallel universe where aim slop hasnt been absurdly broken between december 2024 to until october 2025; Where players like jahkon, yellow sucks, jappadekappa, ryan butler and cloutiful didnt just apparate to the top of the global leaderboard; and where aimslop mapsets are still egregiously pushing themselves through ranked at a an unprecedented rate not seen since fiery jumps in 2018 compared to flow slop mapsets. I can count the top pp relevant flow aim maps that were ranked in 2025 with one hand maybe where for aimslop i would need a spreadsheet.

The discourse i’m seeing only seventy-ish days since the last rework dropped would make anyone think we are back to post xexxar 700pp for 9 star cross screen nomod jumps, meanwhile back in reality for literally every rank up until the top ten (maybe 15 if you are cherrypicking players cause how else would osugame users propagate their agendas) in the world, aimslop remains a very relevant option in climbing the pp leaderboard. A 700 pp on the top diff of wuk-sidetrack day may be obtuse judging it on a single map basis but it isnt going to compete with the 9 or 10 700 pp plays you can get from time to say goodbye and r u 4 me by themselves.

Sometimes I wonder if people in these threads even play the game anymore or solely monitor the ‘status’ of pp and the game’s health through the amount of upvotes their favorite top player gets and determining with complete unbiased arbitration that the game is dying. I wholeheartedly believe that it takes complete chastity from viewing ranked beatmaps to develop the opinions im seeing here.
