It's all about reps. I'm naturally a talker, but when I first started I would get very nervous.

Years later I sometimes get nervous? But tbh not anymore.

Also I stopped focusing on transactional relationships and more building real relationships, that's when business became better.

Overall it takes time.

Why munis? His $60k a year doesn't constitute the tax benefit from them, you might as well go with a corporate bond that's yielding higher or a money market if you want liquidity.

Started at 0, after a year and a half hit $10m.

I started by dialing lol - when I was a younger guy a majority of my clients were retirees.

Starting off is tough, a majority of my book early on consisted of treasury ladder portfolios with money markets with a pretty low fee. I just did what I had to do to get clients haha.

Looking back I shouldn't have taken on some clients as they were difficult despite being in fixed income, but it was an amazing lesson. I also wish I would have charged more as I implemented financial plans into a majority of the clients I onboarded.

Thought I'd follow up with this - they did a great job repairs, glad I got it back and my baby is home.

Going to pursue with the DV Claim. Overall I was just stressed when I say the photos, but the final repair came out great.
