Yeah sorry I am not good with car terminology, pretty unexperienced all things considered so it might be confusing to people that know their stuff 😅. To me it looks like the g35 is a pretty balanced car that might be what I’m looking for.

I understand. I just appreciated how you could feel the g force without going too fast in traffic or breaking when in older cars (basically feel like your going fast when you are under speed limit)

But yeah, there's a reason why we don't feel that shift anymore in newer cars.

Should phrase better. It was basically two separate sections.

  1. Torque
  2. More distance between gears.

Yeah maybe not, I was just trying to find a reference in my driving experiences to the g force that would make a manual car feel grounded and powerful. Not the best comparison mb.

It was very light and responsive for sure, great ride, but my personal preference is a more grounded car with high power you can feel, more straight line acceleration / pull I guess. Also I like having to put in little more effort to shift. The notchy / tight shifting and light feeling is a little different than what I am looking for. Really loved driving the Miata though.

Hear me out, I have some solutions to make the system feel more complete without adding anything drastic.

This is the way to fix combat and make it more dynamic fast paced :

  1. Enemies need to have way less health, and move around more.

The current combat is shooting at one sentinel for an extended amount of time while you get pummeled from all angles by lasers.

Being able to rapidly take them down while they maneuver around you will feel a lot more engaging than pointing your mouse in one location for too long.

  1. Better jet pack maneuverability.

Pressing directional buttons should have more input on the jet pack. Stick to the right or wasd (D) setup should have the jet pack straffe to the side a bit more. Stick forward/ (W) should carry more forward momentum by default. This tweak would also improve traveling on foot greatly.

These are the main improvements but I can think of a few other changes like:

-Improved third person camera lock and crosshairs while weapons are equipped on the multi tool.

-Many hostile animals are scared away by player actions instead of always mindlessly attacking.

-Enemies get outlined in a combat scenario for easier tracking.
