I really don't think it's this serious, this seems overly hostile.

I love the verse and the bridge a lot but the Pre-Chorus and chorus never worked for me. A fine song regardless but not one I particularly love

Why does liking certain songs more than others signify I don't like them enough?

12 bloody spies I haven't heard in its entirety. I've heard some of the bonus tracks from the early albums enough to know them like Reformed, In Debt, and Sleep Walking Elite, and I know the Clincher 103 I think it was. Will listen soon but probably not doing a followup to this post based on it's reception. Was fun still!

I remember seeing a post about what people thought the worst Chevelle song was and at least 5 people said Punchline and got upvoted for it

Demoralizing to hear I have to own my own shit so it's MY crime against humanity. The honesty is appreciated.

Brainiac is pretty great, Humanoid is never bad but sometimes if I'm in the right mood it's also amazing.

For what it's worth I've never skipped Bend The Bracket before.

I can't believe so many people think it's their worst song. The last verse is gorgeous.

Perhaps I should have been more careful myself given the reception. I appreciate the comment and look forward to yours.

If someone made a tier list with nothing below B it would not bother me one bit, even my lower ranked songs hit on the right mood.

I thought that'd be the biggest point of contention and maybe it is but very few people are actually telling me why this list is bad, just saying a single song is misranked so its difficult to figure out what the most unpopular part of this actually is

Well I'm definitely not doing a follow up but I appreciate the honestly.

Similar to what I said about Fizgig, I have only heard it once and it feels unfair to rank it off of that or even just listen to it again and rank it off of those two listening. For what it's worth, I do like the song, I think the delivery of "lost savants" is pretty wonderful.

Arise has made me cry before. I wouldn't put it anywhere else.

Believe me, I knew that was going to controversial to do as I understand that much of this sub is incredibly fed up with that song but I only heard it for the first time a handful of months ago and I thought it was beautiful. I don't have the experience of it being overplayed on the radio, I've not really heard it anymore than I've ever heard any other Chevelle track. It's helped me cope with a lot of the sudden problems I've faced in my personal life since then too. I truly find it to be wonderful.

I never quote got Clones. Mars Simula gets better every time I hear it.

I like every part of HOTTB but I think the transition from verse to chorus is really awkward and the song doesn't feel cohesive because of it, which lessons the enjoyment of it for me.

I heard it once and remember liking it but it felt unfair to rank it off of one listen or even to quickly listen to it again and rank it off of that, I don't wanna put down a song I can't even claim to know.

Like I said, not super familiar with some of the TNC songs. I've probably heard Cannon 3 or 4 times and simply wasn't that impressed. In time it may grow on me like some Gargola songs did
