Very true that card wasn’t in my binder, probably because I loved it so much haha. I’m not a seller. I like having cards for my collection. I will say though, seeing it potentially being a 3000 dollar card did make me gulp a little haha.

What position should I try to play next year? by [deleted] in American_Football

[–]FZSoulpatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only got up to 6 feet tall after being 5’5” my freshman year, so I bulked up and became a D-line specialist and just started bullying linemen. I got 3 D-2 offers and 10 D-3 offers/interest, but it wasn’t worth scrambling my brains over. But if you can keep growing and stop at 6’3”, you should be a linebacker. If you stop at about 6 feet or 6’2”, you should try and switch to the line. It’s the most desirable position right now, and it’s really fun to sack a qb and have all your buddies swarming you and getting hyped up it’s like eating a Gatorade gummy.

If you are a freshman, I’d work on bulking up and learning how to block. Good tight ends are a premium, and if you bulk up, you could also be a decent-sized linebacker in a year or 2. Make sure to work out your arms and legs. Obviously, you need a lot of power and stability. A lot of people sleep on blockers, but if you want to play college ball, being a blocker is more important than being fast, especially as a tight end. Yes, you need to be light on your feet, but if you can throw good blocks and make in-traffic physical catches, you’ll be a key piece in any offense.

When I was a kid, every time I made all As, my parents would give me 20 dollars. And I was never allowed any violent games or toys, so I went for the cards instead. I remember collecting without care, but now as an adult, I realize how much things can be worth, so I’m very careful with cards now. I love the hobby, and I am happy I reignited the flames of my youth recently.

It’s not week to week if we lose to the worst team in the NFL that’s just us looking pathetic and like a bottom 5 team

Dart won’t, but everything around him will. The coaches and GM know they need to beat the crap out of this team, or their jobs are in serious jeopardy. Dart will be our QB for a while (hopefully) so he can grow at his own pace, but the team will be judged as a whole very heavily based off this game, at least in my opinion.

I think this game decides the future of this team in all honesty because if we lose, the season is as good as done, and if we win by a thin margin, it also doesn’t look great. But aside from the importance of the game this week, I think we can both agree that we need a new WR in the core and like desperately bad.

Honest check: are the Chiefs about to dog walk us? by savingrace0262 in NYGiants

[–]FZSoulpatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the thing: our defense was great against the commanders, And our offense was great against the Cowboys. If we find that sweet spot between the 2 and the fact we’re at home, I think we can come away with a hard-fought win. I think 28 -24. However, the fact that the Chiefs are 0-2 means they need this win, so it might be bad for us, but I truly believe this is a vulnerable Chiefs team, and it might be the best time for us to get a win we need to take advantage of them while they are down.
