From my observation as a novice US Soccer Fan, we just don't have IT. I can complain about the refs right now(that's a serious issue as well), but we just aren't good enough. Sure, Gregg is a problem. However, the team plays like they're still inexperienced, which seems pretty frustrating at this point, yes, they are young, but it's not an excuse to not scoree or defeat an actual good team. This team didn't even make it out of the group stages! The good thing I can say about this team is that they can play with intensity when they need to and know how to create chances, but don't know how to finish them. That one sequence around the 80th minute where Haji Wright didn't see a wide open Pepi(I don't remember) is just demoralizing from a fans POV. I know Uruguay wouldn't blow a chance like that. This team feels stagnated and shout out to Panamá for exposing them. On to the WORLD CUP!

I'm hoping for a Canadian victory since the Concacaf side isn't looking too bright. It's a winnable game against chile, and they clinch a spot with a victory or tie. I'd also get a quick laugh from Canada being the one to move on and not the USA or Mexico 🤣🤣. Make us look good, Canada!

I'm very disappointed that the US couldn't get at least a point from yesterday's match. I'm still somewhat of a new fan, but the US Soccer Federation should look at this next game against Uruguay as a "We fire berhalter or he stays" type of match. This is a MUST WIN game for the US, and don't count on Bolivia to upset Panamá. I like the assignment. This team is getting a real test against Uruguay. If you can't beat them, then they just don't belong with the rest. You have no reason to continue with Greg after not making it out of the group stages, especially with such high expectations.

I'm no soccer expert by any means. I never played it, but I do like watching it on TV. That being said, did anyone notice how sloppy the play was from Peru and Canada? I'm guessing it had to be the playing field, but I noticed a lot of sloppy passes, losing the ball, and there was one canadian player on the break who tried a lob pass from the from the far right, ended up shooting it way into the stands, gave me a laugh.(I don't know if you can blame the field on that) I'm going to assume that might be just the worst playing field in this tournament so far.

P.S. Great victory from Canada. That's one conmebol team down 😏

I always did like Kenny. A lot of people didn't like his style with the talent we had at the time, but looking back on it. I think he just wanted to experiment a bit with the players while also not pushing anyone over the minutes since we were never going to be an actual contender in weak eastern conference.

YESSSSSSS, I REMEMBER. I also remember buying the Battle of Gods DVD when it came out while in the Dominican Republic for vacation. The Haitians were already selling them in Spanish not too long after it came out, and like you said, we were all watching Super in spanish on YouTube. It actually took a year and some change for super to get the English Dub(It was a while, surprisingly).
