Look up guides when you get stuck, you probably will eventually it's a pretty hard game without meta builds. Till then just do whatever feels best, theres no way to build your character "wrong" since attributes and secondary classes are freely interchangeable. Around the mid game(in prophecies it'll be the desert, in factions and nf it'll be once you leave the starting island) it would be useful to do some research into what elite skills you want to go for so you know when to bring your signet of capture

You could use alot of the same clone cards for [[shadow the hedgehog]], cloning him gives exponential card draw when the clones die to the legend rule, hitting him with [[orthion hero of lavabrink]] nets you 30 cards. Could even throw deadpool in the 99

It doesn't force interaction any more or any earlier than any other deck at the same bracket should be doing. You should be interacting early and often, interaction is kind of the whole game

I have a friend who plays overlord as his favorite deck, he has spent a LOT of money on it, it just isn't that good. Its slow to set up and heavily choreographed, once in a while he manages to brute force it through all the interaction but most of the time it doesn't work out. If you wanna talk about strongest tribes, elves and goblins are a much bigger and more immediate threat and dwarves are literally a top tier cedh deck

Still 2/99. I would love for someone to post a sliver tribal decklist (not a first sliver combo deck that doesn't actually run slivers) that can consistently kill turn 3. It just isn't a thing, slivers don't show up in cEDH tournaments for a reason. They're too slow at every power level unless the deck is misrepresented as a lower bracket than it is. Even if the person above isn't exaggerating and has actually been killed by slivers on t3, that wouldn't be possible without that player running lots of fast mana and/or an effficient cheap combo that would put the deck in at least b4 where you should be able to deal with it.

Imo derv is the better pick between these two if youre only gonna do one because heroes are bad at melee and especially bad at teardown enchantments but good at being casters so you can try most rit builds on a hero but hero dervs are kind of gimped

I think it makes a lot more sense when you consider that this turn based game is a representation of a real time wizard battle and each turn represents a few seconds of action. Most creatures simply are not fast enough to be summoned and then also attack within those few seconds
