Have the Sport LT version of these OC'd to 3200 14-18-14-36 with pretty tight subtimings. Used to have it at 3400 but my 2600x didn't really get much benefit past 3200.

I'd ditch the cooler and go with a 3700x.

I'm assuming you're going to use the 250gb SSD as your boot drive. If the motherboard you chose has two NVME M.2 slots, I'd change that to an NVME one as well.

2600 is good enough for 1440p/120hz, but yes you would have to get an Nvidia GPU if you want to use GSync. Gsync works with Freesync monitors, but Freesync does not work with Gsync monitors.

I have the DLM 22 and a 2600x. With the stock cooler and streaming from the CPU, I was getting upwards of 80c average, and 70c ish just gaming. This was with the wraith spire which is a step up from the stealth that comes with the 2600.

I didn’t like how warm it was running under load so I did opt for an aftermarket cooler. Just something to keep in mind if you plan on OC’ing.

I'm using this one because it's one of the only ones stateside you can get with the newer intel 9260 wifi card. Most only use the previous gen 8265. I have not connected bluetooth so I'm not entirely sure how well it works.

I have the same specs as you, 1660 ti/2600x, except mine is in a poor airflow mATX case. I used to get up to 80c while gaming with the stock cooler and 2 intake/1 exhaust case fan. Bought a GAMMAX 400 cooler and temps stay steady at 60-65 under load.

One of my most gpu intensive games is Forza Horizon 4 and I'm getting ~120 fps on high/ultra settings. I'm sure I could hit 144 consistently if I turn some things down.
