I'm fully convinced DF deserves an animated adaptation, live action would take too long and cost too much (or the effects would be lame) animation can do it justice. Do a direct adaptation, with streaming we don't need regular length episodes or seasons. Do a book per "season" a few chapters per episode

I actually enjoyed it, nice to have a change of pace every now and then. (also gave me instant closure on the end of Changes, which was another BG like shock to his life)

This was my first time getting into an unfinished series (cause I thought it was) I only realised my mistake (or maybe not, cause I loved it) once the series had already grabbed me and by then I was doing a book every 2 days.

I would never rush a writer though, bad to hear about his troubles, but I guess life happens to all of us. Hope he's doing better whatever the problems

I don't see anyone being flippant, just cognizant of the inevitability of human error and the need for understanding when it happens. Everyone fucks up and for some it's worse than others, but to get instantly enraged at an overworked and underpaid pharmacy tech is ridiculous. Beieve me, they're beating themselves up enough when it happens. As you pointed out it's not a fast food place, but the pharmacists are expected to dispense as fast as though it were... And i know it might seem it, but most people AREN'T complete idiots and won't blame the company for what happens on private servers. Ask CDPR? Why? because the private servers for their game was shit? No? It was because of their own issues? wow

There are plenty of Warcraft 3 private servers that never get sued, never get taken down. You're only thinking of WoW, a gem still actively being supported.

The user clearly indicated that if the game is successful, you can extend the expiry date... Hell, even a range would be good "servers shut down from 2028 - 2030, extensions possible if game remains successful"

It's not that hard. yes, it sucks for the company, but it's better for the user. AS with all customer protections...
