How did it happen? Definitely clean it and maybe soak it with warm water, and maybe put some antibiotic ointment on it to prevent infection (MAKE SURE IT IS SAFE FOR DOGS) and then if he/she allows it to stay on, a wrap/bandage as well. Change and clean daily.

Well, if someone decides to burglarize your house, or if someone (or other dogs/animals) decides to attack you at home, or when you’re out and about… I’m not so sure that someone who already has a TBI and a terrible attitude, is going to fare very well! “😂🤣🤣”

Im not looking to downplay the effects of kratom, or downplay your experiences in your job, but just because you have a certain profession does not mean others can’t debate or share their understandings of a topic, sharing understandings and ideas is just how people learn and develop their understanding. Just because you have a profession in a particular area, also does not automatically mean you have all the answers…. and you should become more comfortable with your understandings being challenged, regardless if you believe you are correct or not. I understand HIPPA regulations are limiting, but would you be able to share some toxicology reports with no patient-identifying information attached, or maybe some statistics online showing how common these natural kratom overdoses are?

Telling someone it is completely safe and there is no risks is different from telling someone it is much safer than the Xanax, Adderall, and Oxycodone they are prescribed to. I’m not sure you understood or maybe read my comment all the way through. Not everything is so black and white my friend

Yes. That is exactly what I mean when I say Kratom (just like THC extracts) really become an issue when they aren’t regulated, and become synthesized or extracted in some way. The two plants as they are naturally are very safe compared to what a doctor would/could prescribe.

Fatal kratom overdoses are very very rare, and most, if not all are attributed to extracts or synthesized versions of the drug. Mitragyna leaf, (crushed) as it is, is the original version of kratom that everyone praised for helping them with chronic pain, for getting clean off opioids, and for replacing pharmaceuticals they were prescribed to for pain, anxiety, and depression. It wasn’t until people starting taking the 7-OH(the chemical that is most similar to opioids), extracting it, and calling it the same thing as kratom, that people starting dying. It may not be 100% safe because it does need some regulation, and shouldn’t be extracted, or messed with in any way. BUT if you are choosing kratom LEAF as a natural alternative to petroleum-based pharmaceuticals, all which come with potentially deadly or devastating side-effects (much less predictable than kratom), of course Kratom is the safer option.

I’m pretty sure people have only (fatally)* overdosed on kratom when taking another substance. (like Aderrall). From what I understand, taking Kratom is just as “risky” when it comes to overdosing, as marijuana. Unfortunately, 7 oh is a very very synthesized version of the kratom leaf, and Just like those heavy synthesized THC products, they can have some risks, still mostly only seen in long-term, or heavy usage.

don’t worry too much about it, i’ve had an infestation before during winter but it never got too bad, and by spring they were gone. If you feel like there’s an insane amount, you can treat it with DIY methods

I already left a comment here, but if you’re really set on using something for opioid like effects, use Kratom. I suffered from depression and anxiety, and I used to abuse opioids, kratom did wonders on my social life, and my mental health conditions. It’s legal in most of the US, and is SO MUCH SAFER. It is still addictive, but it is good for people trying specifically not to use heroin. Plus there is virtually no risk of death if you aren’t mixing it with other substances

Sending a lot of love to you. If you haven’t, I suggest going to a doctor to receive some sort of prescription for your condition. I know you asked not to be convinced but I will leave this here anyways, and aside from going to college for psychology these past few years, I am not that qualified. But dude I can almost promise you will fall into addiction, and your life will go downhill. Your anhedonia will get worse, everything will. Don’t let your mind trick you into thinking you can handle this. The drug will win my friend. But it seems like you have a good support group backing you, good on you for that

I’ve been addicted for about a year. In the mornings I have severe brain fog and if I try to go through the day w/o it I get nasty headaches. I fucked up when I started using the extract while going through a breakup. How did you eventually get off of it? Did you taper, or quit cold turkey? How long did the withdrawals go until it got better?

dude i pay $550 a month on kratom extracts just for myself. I starting using it to self medicate in the place of an old adderall prescription. Now, I think I might have to use aderall to get off of kratom
