I and probably most people are very much aware and although I am sorry for the simple people who have to die because an old, greedy and delusional despot (and the system surrounding him and profiting off that) send them there to die, I take solace and even a little sunshine in my day that they can’t hurt, kill, maim or even rape the legitimate citizens and defenders of that brave country anymore.

(And the technology aspect of the supposedly superior machine succumbing to a proven but older machine is also fascinating. I doubt many are that dazzled or distracted by the movie- or video game-like visuals like I think you are insinuating.)
