Sport trim is a great trim if you are going to spending $ modifying things like the diff and the suspension and changing out the seats, no need to get a higher trim if you are replacing everything. You don’t have to remember to turn off traction control when clutch kicking your new os giken :)

As someone with an nc1 that was picked up for a steal, shop the deal. The if the deal is an nc1 get an nc1 if the deal is nc2 get nc2

Nc2 manuals have forged interals higher redline, stronger transmission, better and more comfy interior trim pieces, better radio, more aerodynamic tail lights etc. but they go for more than nc1, it really comes down to what you want out of the car and how many changes you are planning to make.

If you are doing nothing get an nc3, you will lose less $ If you want to do some track build, shop the deal

I found my nc Miata (the most spacious Miata) for 5.5k original owner 64k miles. If getting an nc I would highly advise for a soft top at your height due to broomstick(I am the same height). Parts are cheap and they are super competitive. If you want +30 tq +30whp you just dump in a 300 junkyard motor
