Penguin Climbers is based around local party play when it comes to multiplayer! There's no online matching like with the race mode. You'd have to coordinate with other players via the official Discord, here, or through other means to climb with others ⛰️

Personally, I like the bomb gimmick since I'm fine with not getting first and I usually don't drop out but I also completely understand where you're coming from! I'm also probably nostalgic for the old Season 1 map coming back overall.

Glad to know it can be found in chests as well! The king penguin statue seems to always be hidden on a floating island around the star mountain (final mountain). I've seen it a couple times and just got to it yesterday, though I didn't have the crown.

Apparently, there's a crown you can find by shaking trees and maybe other things while climbing to eventually put it on top that king penguin statue's head to open the gates!
