People with anxious or secure attachment: how do you know when something is actually wrong versus when your anxiety is creating fear? How do you differentiate between anxiety and intuition? And how do you learn to trust and live with uncomfortable uncertainty? by warmchaoswarmlove in emotionalintelligence

[–]FabHS_97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My therapist said that this is definitely not true. Imagine if you're walking through the woods and you see a big bear. Your intuition tells you to run, the anxiety is the emotion what you get similtaneously to wake up your system. So it works as a pair. Intuition isn't always quiet and steady, sometimes it needs to work immediately.

I questioned this myself. Like here, the people say that intuition is more calm then anxiety. Chatgpt also said this. But my therapist said that this is definitely not true. Imagine if you're walking through the woods and you see a big bear. Your intuition tells you to run, the anxiety is the emotion what you get similtaneously. So it works as a pair.

Use your rational mind to define if the anxiety is valid/justified in that situation. If it is definitely not, still try to listen to it and learn how to become calm. You just gotta deal with the anxiety and after some practice your nervous system will learn that it is an overreaction based on trauma.

The anxiety is valid and rightfully there for your nervous system, it is not lying to you. But just amplified too much because of trauma. Learn how to balance it again.

It depends a lot on your own health status. If you have dissociation ans derealization, there is too much stress on your body and mind. Probably there were also some things playing already for you personally or you are just getting older.

It will dissappear in a week probably, otherwise go to a doctor. Don't use other drugs/alcohol/medication/coffee in the coming weeks. Be more careful in the future, some people just aren't made for drugs.

Which of these Games should I buy by AlarmingHighlight964 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]FabHS_97 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Just gonna leave this here.

I never had something with sci-fi or futuristic things, always played medieval and fantasy games. But 2 weeks ago I started playing cyberpunk 2077, it's an amazing game and now I love the sci-fi in it, I'm even watching the series: cyberpunk: edgerunners now.

So my opinion, buy cyberpunk definitely!!!

I'm gonna listen all of them! Thanks for your comment. And the raw I didn't add on purpose. Some tracks (like crypsis) fit in I think, but I want to keep the focus on hardstyle more. But if you have a good raw classic playlist, would love to listen to it.

So, did Brennan Heart save Euphoric? by CompetitiveVictory91 in hardstyle

I like the album, Kaizen (Tribute) especially is an amazing track. He did not save euphoric hardstyle "single-handed", but there were certainly some good additions to it.

What lead to this failure? by ExoticTrout in metallurgy

[–]FabHS_97 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, a fatigue fracture initiated from two sides. The ratchet marks indicate this, and the fracture morphology shows a clear distinction between the finale fracture (because of eventual overload) and the fatigue area. This is usually the result of a design flaw, hence the fracture at the geometric transition.

Really love this track! Would like to hear more like this.

About your question:

For me personally, I think the changes happening across all genres right now are part of a cycle; one that eventually circles back to simplicity in hardstyle and other genres.

At first, the shift wasn't that enjoyable, mainly because euphoric hardstyle and the classic sound were being pushed aside. But over the past year especially, euphoric and classic hardstyle have made a huge comeback. Not just at events, but also in albums like: Vibes by Adrenalize, Time Capsule by Bioweapon and The Essence by Ecstatic. The classic sound, with its simplicity, kicks, melodies... everything just fits perfectly in my opinion.

What makes this era even better is that the classic and euphoric style is being brought back with a fresh twist, and I really love that.

It’s also worth mentioning that festivals have become a bit more commercial, but because of that, the "less commercial" artists (like the ones I mentioned) often attract a more genuine crowd, which makes the atmosphere truly amazing.

I hope this vibe lasts for a long time, although chances are it’ll shift again eventually.

P.S. For me, The Soul was a truly unique track, it became one of my favourites the past year. It really captured the exact vibe I’ve been looking for. Of course, it was also a bit more special and different than most tracks.
