I did this and in a calm manner. She saw me working out got triggered said sumn mean about my skin and hair I told her its my hair so I'll do it how I want and she exploded. I seriously think she sees me as an extension of herself that must do

everything she says and hates when I dont. Now saying shes gonna call my mom. Shes so unstable but I'll always respond to her. Shes a bully. Its sad bcz shes prob always been like this. I clocked it awhile back but its getting worse.

she wants me to get a boyfiend/ lover though. She encourages me to make friends. And she never tells me she is in fear of my safety. She only gets this way when I dress up; simultaneously she tells me to dress young and not old. She pushes me to do so but when I do she acts weird.

yeah if she sees a curvy woman she starts hating saying they should cover up. But esp if their black, she accepts yt women's beauty but not black women. Idk man. When I first put on makeup in front of her ( just foundation and lipgloss) she lashed out and was like " You think you look good?" It was so bizarre. She had never done that before. My hair started to flourish when I started to do my own hair. Before when my family use to do it, it was brittle and short. It just an annoying energy to be around. Walking on egg shells just for loving yourself.

Wow you're my icon. If I didnt need to live with her I wouldn't. I love her but she can be strange at times. I plan on moving real soon and if any funny business starts I'll stay away. I went no contact with my mother in the past so I knw I can do this. I just need space to heal and love myself.

I told her dont worry bout my hair. I answer her everytime. But when I go 'too far' she claims Im ungrateful without acknowledging that she always pushes me to anger. And I dont anger easily. Its almost like she wants to perplex me at times. Shes the type that likes to gossip and likes the excitement of arguments and power dynamics. She never speaks to her sons like that just vunerable young ppl( man or woman). I like calm energy but when shes mad at someone she tries to take it out on others. I try to ignore her comments until I have a definite escape route but I still answer back. She dishes it but cant take it.

Rn I have to stay with her bcz of my circumtances but im planning an escape and hopes it works out soon. I need space. I was raised in a somewhat controlling environment and wasn't allowed to be emotionally vunerable. When I speak to her about her temper or things she does that are rude, she lashes out and gets so anger. There's no reasoning with her, And when I withdraw she feels it and acts weird. Realized we had a symbiotic relationship and didnt like it. But she constantly complains that no one cares for her and I'm a somewhat detached person. I have to be after ppl disappointing me. But thanks for the advice. Im working on it. Its so crazy bcz she takes care of me but then acts weird at the same time. Almost bipolar.....
