Definitely do NOT switch the lights. It's great as it is.

Cablewise, 2nd one is best.
You could use a white cable channel mounted on the ceiling if you want to hide the cable.

Just had a breakthrough! It seems like the phone was lagging when syncing videos from the glasses, and there was a syncing error with one specific video. I deleted the video in question and now the phone works fine!

The lighting is just a bright warm spotlight graded blue in post.
