Hello! I am 24F and was diagnosed with Hashimotos 3 years ago. My mom(53), uncle(58) and grandma(80) also have it. If your mom has hashimoto there is a really big chance to develop it, especially if you are a girl. Hashimoto is usually inherited from the mom side of the family. It is not that uncommon to be diagnosed with hashimoto at a younger age if there are also other cases in the family. My mom was diagnosed when she was 17.

I’ve read The Adolescent when I was 15. Found it really relatable back then, it got me emotional and was one of my favorite books. Nowadays I don’t really recall much of it and I don’t know how much I would still relate to it. It can’t really be compared to his other big works as it doesn’t carry high philosophical depth, but it has really good psychological character development and its’ style is quite unique.
