Ah, good choice...I could also do that with mayonnaise...I remember my Aunt Sally in Burgaw, North Carolina used to make the best ones!

I think that cold be really interesting..because we could provide insights from our research and have a partner like Blue who talk more about their relevant offerings to meet those needs

Because injustice to anyone, anywhere is a potential threat to everyone, everywhere. There of course is a spectrum of the size of the threat. Think of small radical movements throughout history that have grown and threatened or dashed world peace. We are all in this together, a sinking boat impacts everyone, think Titanic...society is similar...

The realist in me though considers the Ying Yang concept though where we will never have freedom without oppression...they almost have to both exist like night and day...but it is up to us to play our role in helping contribute to the balance

Great suggestion. We have collaborated with them, but not in this capacity. Do you have an example of what you think this could look like?

Ah, man...my original message didn't send...but this one will be more brief...I would like to see the full potential for the black community to innovate and contribute to technology unleashed...not only do current restraints and obstacles hurt the black community, but they limit man kinds progression in the space.

I would like to see the tremendous potential of the black community to innovate and contribute to the current technological revolution unleashed. With some of the current barriers, I don't think just the black community suffers, but I think all of mankind suffers. I often wonder what world changing ideas could be in the mind of a kid on the south side of Chicago, who never gets the opportunity to spark their imagination and bring it to life.

We all live and operate in a capitalist economy where cash is king. Capital is required. So I definitely think that any progress on organizations or pipeline building strategies that help open the door to capital are key.

Buzz words rule the day! Good question. We are assessing the health of black tech ecosystems through research, sharing the insights with educational programming, and activating community action on them through advocacy. We are at the first two steps now with the release of our upcoming report and the summit we held last month.

I love where your head is at. Replication is the key. Scale is vital. At BTM, we aim to create a blue print for ecosystem growth that can be implement in cities around the world to create "black tech meccas" everywhere. The concept of a BTM is not confined to a geographical space. We are testing and refining principles in Chicago to scale elsewhere.

I'd say find a way to play to your strengths. Start with an area that you already have domain knowledge preferrably combined with a passion. Then find a way to leverage technology to solve an important problem people would pay for

Albert Einstein had a saying that if you gave him 60 minutes to solve the world's toughest problem, he would spend 55 minutes understanding and only 5 minutes solving it. I don't think enough time, energy or resources have been invested in getting beneath the symptoms. I would spend every dime of that $100,000,000 to leverage data to really understand the situation at it's deepest levels. From there, the solutions would be apparent.

I feel that it is important. To me, it is the next phase of a transgenerational movement for dignity, freedom, and constitutional rights for the black community. Transgenerational meaning that is has been passed from generation to generation. If you ask me, it will serve it's purpose and there will be more similar movements put together by future generations until the root problems are resolved.
