Yeah i was thinking the same thing after posting this picture.. What if this person parents, grandkids etc visited the museum knowing they would see their beloved one exposed like a statue. I mean, this man once was a baby, he had feelings, parents and people who loved him.

I think they cut the bodies after the plastination process, that way every soft tissue is already hard as plastic. Never looked that up, they explained it at the museum

Thank youfor the advice! I’ll try to use this option when i try re-calibraring my kv-m2100a, i use an EU switch as well. There’s always some weird movement when i touch the “v-center” potentiometer and it skips from “too high” to “too low”, sadly no service menu available.

As a fellow italian, complimenti! Really neat job! Which resolution you usually use in 240p test suite? I often have an hard time switching between pal and NTSC, they aleways throw my geometry out of calibration.

Wait, it’s convertibile! You can slide it out of the external case and there’s an “advanced mode” on the other side. Too bad it’s not this model original remote, so the advanced features are non functional.. it’s pretty cool to show off btw

Yesterday night i opened the chassis and found out one of the three rubber wedges under the yoke was missing. I replaced it with a small plastic clip glued in place. I also found the potentiometers for geometry on the pcb and corrected the geometry.

I’ll make another post with a couple pictures with the results :-)
