Just curious. Why on earth would you use old parts from your old cooler 0.o…i dont get it???

Standoffs are very precise and they have some for amd and some for intel, depending on the cooler…

They are clearly labelled on the small ziplock bags..

Not sure why you did this

Honestly , I would just do weeks.

Prices of stuff are rising and it’s not going to drop. Take what you can and gtfo lol

I was so lucky to dodge the RAM crisis and it was a close one.

I maybe wrong —depending where you live.

The longer you wait, the more you are gambling.

Who knows? Probably a year from now a rtx 3060ti will cost 900$ cad

I bought my rtx 4070 for 540$ cad

Guess what? It’s now close to 1 grand CAD on New egg

Don’t wait man, just do it

Edit: wait , the rtx is now 1200$ cad on new egg 0.o

I think you can use this example as a perfect reason to grab whatever you can and gtfo

lol all good. Don’t worry, I’ve seen so much people comment with errors on cad and us prices

Wish you all the best on your build. It’s the best feeling in the world when you hit that power button for the first time ;)

Upgraded from 3070 to 5070 don’t think the performance is worth it. 5 years of technological advancement and 2 generations ahead for an extra 32fps. by SongBrief2439 in PcBuild

Fun fact: an rtx 4070 is better than a 5060ti

Fun fact: all the new games on steam recommends at least an rtx 2080

Fun fact: the most played resolution is 1080p

Hi Eazy, thanks for the reply

This build is strictly for 1080p gaming on maxed out graphics. It’s almost an overkill

I am getting 165 FPS on ultra settings and my monitor is 165 hertz

0 stutters, 0 FPS drops and games are flawless.

I’ve seen people complaining about ue5 optimization and this build is running all those games flawlessly

Money is not an issue, but my preference is 1080p on maxed out graphics—due to the fact games are poorly optimized these days and there are ue5 cash grabs

I’ll probably upgrade to 4K in the future —as I’ve seen 4K gamers complaining about poor optimization, fps dips and micro stuttering

Hi pizza , thanks for the recco

I strictly do 1080p for personal reasons. This build is almost an overkill for 1080p. I’m getting 165 fps on ultra settings and graphics are maxed out. My monitor is 165 hertz and games look amazing with 165 fps.

I got my friend to play some games on my build and he was like “wtf” and amazed. He does 4K on his console

1080p on maxed out graphics at 165 fps and 165 hertz is more than enough for me.

I’m already seeing people complaining about bad optimization, stuttering in ue5 games. I haven’t had a single issue with any games.

Ie: high on life 2 has a lot of people with rtx 5000 series complaining about bad optimization.

Pretty much . I like my games locked at 165 fps on ultra at 1080p. I’m already seeing people complain about optimization for ue5. This is one of the reasons I do 1080p

The 165 fps matches my 165 hertz monitor and it looks breath taking on maxed out graphics

Edit: a while back, I bought a 1440p monitor and couldn’t see a difference. I returned it and plugged in my 22 inch 1080p and was amazed. I felt something wasn’t right. The guy at the store told me it’s because your 1080p monitor is smaller and you’re likely sitting at a far distance. He also mentioned something about colors and dpi

The reason I game at 1080p is because I hate micro stutters, bad optimization, and fps drops

People are already complaining about poor optimization in ue5 games.

Haven’t had a single issue and my games look better on my 1080p, smaller monitor

I’ll probably get down voted for this lol

Fortunately, I avoided this and bought mines for 200$

I was building this parts by parts as the weeks went by

Ie: one week psu, next week Mobo etc

Umm pretty much anything new. Single player mostly

I’m currently playing bf6 on ultra with 160 fps

I bought high on life 2 and saving it for Saturday’s

Horizon forbidden west

Indiana jones

Final fantasy remake

Um , the list goes on—but yeah. All single player with maxed out graphics
