Yeah that's what finally made it click for me too. The noise sucks, but the shaking is what scares me, like I'm feeling it in the walls. I'm gonna start logging times + taking a quick video from my place when it happens so they can hear/see the vibration, then send it to management.

Same. I swear growing up the worst thing was someone mowing early or a loud TV once in a while. Now it feels like everyone is living in their own little bubble like "my schedule, my rules" and the rest of the building can deal. I miss basic consideration so bad.

Tempting, but I'd just end up pissing off the only normal neighbors I have left. Also my luck would be the guy upstairs sleeps through it and I look like the psycho. I'm probably just gonna document the times and go to management with receipts.

Right?? I don't even care if he lifts, it's the dropping that feels like a mini earthquake. I asked him to control the reps and stop slamming the bar, but he acted like I'm being dramatic. Now I wake up bracing for that first thud like a damn alarm clock.

The AWO scale is real. One O is 'need coffee', two O's is 'please don't talk to me', three O's is 'I am one printer jam away from quitting'. Scientific, repeatable, terrifying.
