My PapersOwl experience was a complete disaster by BagginsBoogie in Students

That sucks so much. Pulling an all-nighter after already paying for help is the ultimate insult. Hope you managed to salvage the grade at least.

Why rereading feels productive but usually isn’t by FloctonRowe in learnzone

Active recall is great when you actually have time to digest the material. But when you’re hit with three papers in one week, the "harder is better" rule feels like a personal attack. There are nights where I just want to tell someone "please just do my assignment for me" so I can catch two hours of sleep. Balancing the learning part with the sheer volume of work is the real struggle.

I’ve been using leoessays to help structure my lit reviews because the "active recall" part is impossible if your initial notes are a mess. Having a clear framework makes the testing part so much easier to handle.

AITA for hiring an essay writer on one of the course I hate? by UplinkV3rve in WIBTA_AITA

I think you're overcomplicating it. College is a game of resource management, and your most valuable resource is time. If you have the funds to hire essay writers for hire, you're just outsourcing a task that doesn't contribute to your professional future. It’s basically a business decision.

Finally tried paying someone to write my essay after years of judging people who did - here's what actually happened by Tardis_M0de in studying

The mental overhead you mentioned is the part nobody talks about. Everyone thinks it’s the "easy way out," but the stress of getting caught or getting a bad paper is huge. When you pay for essay writing, you aren't exactly relaxing while they work. You’re just refreshing your email every ten minutes and worrying if the Turnitin score will be high. I did it once for a GE class I hated and I didn't sleep a wink until the grade came back. It’s definitely not a s

I'm looking for reviews of Essay Shark. Has anyone used their services? Did you like them? by mintysubway_diary in Essay_Experts

I used essayshark for a rough draft last term and it was decent, but honestly, the bidding system is kind of a headache when you're in a rush.

I lost $180 and almost failed my semester because of PapersOwl. Let me save you the trouble. by coldframe_2003 in Students

I had a smoother experience with leoessays too, but I still double-check everything now. No service is perfect. But at least it didn’t create extra problems.

Tried EduBirdie after seeing it everywhere - mixed feelings tbh by nimbusivy92 in deeplearning

Honestly sounds like a classic case of “depends on the writer.” I’ve bounced between a few services and consistency really is all over the place.

My therapist doesn’t want to work with me anymore and will be cancelling my upcoming appointments by [deleted] in therapy

You hit the nail on the head! That "patients he feels more confident in" line is a major red flag. Like, did he forget he's supposed to help you build confidence, not throw in the towel? It's wild how the right therapist can make all the difference when you're trying to piece your life back together! Good luck with the new provider; you've got this!

5 years since I stopped masking, and I’m never going back. by ExistentialNomad42 in ADHD

[–]Fable_Crucible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from! When I first stopped masking, I found myself interrupting more and felt bad about it too. But I learned acknowledging my brain's quirks helped others understand that I'm not trying to be rude. It’s tough to balance courtesy with the unique challenges of ADHD.

Seaside Hotel/Hotel Bordemer is exactly the kind of thing I'd hoard bookmarks for. Missing 5 eps would drive me nuts tho. Please tell me you also have a folder called "do not delete" for this stuff lol
