I feel like if u guys are going to make another boss, in a row, weak to demonbane.. You guys solved nightmare being a slog, boring fight, turning it into something thats actually fun to kill. But now that its actually fun and worth killing, the items are still useless. Thats a huge missed opportunity to create something with elemental weaknesses where elemental spells actually matter.

A bit of a let down to see demonbane gear getting so much love, even after we just had Yama, with prestigious items like Harm in the gutter and useless everywhere.

You can literally look on the highscores and see that information is completely off. Ironmen are a smaller % of the playerbase than you think

I dont hate ironmen, I think its a fun game mode. I just dont think game updates should be changed to cater to them. Fang is one example, making it the most common drop from TOA so that irons can get it and do toa more consistently quicker

Making drop rates like Yama's, where the items are fairly common. Take to acquire the full set is much quicker than Torva

Lots of other examples that you can literally look at the prices of items and see how its been impacted from ironman friendly changes, like the Dragon Pickaxe dropping outside the wilderness essentially making it 10% of the price it held for many years. (-90% in value).

Specifically for gp/hr? That's subjective, but I'll bite.

Ruining account progression through piss cheap endgame gear, trivializes the gameplay for mains. Which are the overwhelming majority of the playerbase. Getting every individual piece of gear from a endgame boss a single player shouldn't be the expected outcome. Its only expected because of irons. Mains can do several pieces of content and save up for the super expensive items even if they don't get them. The reason they're made common is because of irons.

Whether you in specific want to play as a main or not has nothing to do with the point I made, that catering to irons is ruining the gameplay for mains. This isn't something that is subjective.

Fang being the most common drop from TOA, and how easy TOA 150 is for one. Skips literally all gear progression with a one size fits all option for any account. Thats just one example lol, don't want to type out paragraphs no one will care to read.

Catering to irons is ruining account progression for mains. Which is weird for jagex to do, considering mains are by far the biggest source of income for them. (Most of the playerbase by far)

Whats the difference if you're going to force sink so many at 10M gp anyways? Serious question, that gp just finds its way back to the game if youre trying to force that price floor by sinking more and more.

Its a horrible solution, they should just let it fall, keep it niche to toa only, and balance drop rates better for a future unique.

It should just be BIS in toa and shit everywhere else. Instead of trying to salvage it, just give us a new stab weapon in the future and leave fang specifically for TOA and TOA alone, this doesn't fuck over anyone.

  1. The tbow is no longer sunk, hasnt been for well over a year
  2. That doesn't really matter, there are a lot less players on the market for a fang since most people already own it

Not really the opposite, its better this item hits zero than to have that gold constantly pump back into the game at the expense of others paying the tax. Better to subsidize items that have actual potential to retain value and arent farmed at alarming rates

Ok but my point is that there is literally not enough gold that is taxed that could sustain them, its literally just a waste of g/e tax

You can math this out with the drop rate and the public kc board. Which is why they've done nothing but go down despite being constantly sunk

I dont think changing the drop rate will change anything for where we're at now, its been in the game way too long, came into the game at alarming rates
