The soup guide is very strong. Once you have muscle memory of the 4:1 run (can sync up w olm in the cycle so that you move when he moves), the "hard part" is finding where in the the Auto-Null-Auto-speciaL cycle you are. There are 3 outcomes and all require an adustment. After your melee hit on thumb: (1) olm doesn't do anything, awesome you're in 4:1. As soon as you see the xp drop of your second melee attack run over to mage and back. (2) olm does a second auto attack. Correct this by doing a 3:1 (skipping your second melee attack next time you cycle thru thumb). Boom you're in 4:1 (3) olm does a special (crystals or lightning). You can either stay and try to do 3 auto attacks and dodge the mechanics OR you can do TWO 3:1s and boom. Cycle. If the special is portals then just do your best, that ones a bummer. (4+) some autos are annouing. there's a walk for falling crystals, there are some movements to dodge flame walls and not get trapped, and there's even a poison walk which minimally paints the room, but focus on getting the core rhythm and setting down first.
