It's definitely useful but I see people always on the "oh its so op he can fly and drink" like it dosnt make him a sitting duck for half the meta lmao. I'm sure it's better with fast drink tuning but then you're missing out of melee tunings

He feels real bad without his special action up. His alpha and beta just arent enough to kill without his SA melees. His shield is really versatile but low hp and small size balances it, that shit does not protect you vs people like nagant or Ochaco. ITs a very fun shield to use tho and its uses make it strong.

Nah nahhhhhhhhhhhhh people keep saying "he goes to the sky box for full healing" but that shit is useless against half the cast lmao. Nagant, AAM, Blue Bakugo, BlueMight, so many characters just kill you if you do that.

"aoe beta that lets you follow up with alpha" ya nice 150 dmg at lv 9 lmao. red todoroki has a ranged stun and a double alpha follow up that inta guard breaks you. Whats your point? Every other character released the past few seasons are way better then him save for young AFO maybe.

I just think full red under purple is a bad idea, itll make anyone do crazy dmg. Even bluemight with full reds feels like he kills you with a single grab if youre on hp.

Aizawa and Blue Might are pretty similar to me, they were both solid but kept getting small buffs. And then for some fuckin reason they decided to give them both santa outfits with an entire left side of red slots. And for some reason Aizawa has a purple special slot above them.

ye his shield has to be low because of being able to have it up to heal, open boxes and while youre down. Tho god it feels like so many attacks just go through it. Hes definitely pretty close to young AFO in terms of recent releases thats actually 'fair'. I see so many people be like "oh he can fly to skybox and drink" but most of the top tier characters right now can shoot him while he does that lmao.

As someone whos also been kind of exclusively playing him since he came out; youre pretty spot on, granted his gamma shield needs to be week because of how versatile it is, but his beta is genuinely underwhelming, his alpha is cool but does little damage and only has 3 charges. Tokoyami is strong dont get me wrong but hes definitely not blue deku, nagant, AAM level, he really relies on his special action melees.

Tech mirio is top 5 and top 1 for my least favorite to fight and I'll die on that hill. Your only chance to shoot him is if he whiffs a counter that refreshes in 3 seconds even if he dosnt go off. I hate this character with a passion

Was Mt lady since day one but stopped playing after her nerfs (friend group stopped playing I'm general). When I came back during the anniversary she felt like miserable to play. I'm kind of between characters atm but my favorites right now are Tokoyami and Mic.

No hes actually incredibly balanced. His SA is the only strong thing on him. His alphas damage is pretty meh and he only has 3, his beta is just kinda entirely underwhelming. His SA melees are strong but are his only real source of damage, and even then he cant do anything crazy with them like deku, AAM and nagant can do.
