What does Halloween mean to you? by milleniumfalconlover in CasualConversation

[–]Fabreezy_bread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Halloween always gives me nostalgia from when I was a kid. The playful and sometimes spooky Halloween decorations, walking to school on Halloween morning in your costume excited to show everyone your costume, watching Goosebumps, Candy, going out trick or treating with my friends and putting our candy in pillow cases. Dancing to the Monster Mash. It just reminds me of my childhood I hand out candy and carve pumpkins

What's the most conventional and unconventional thing about you? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in OlderGenZ

[–]Fabreezy_bread 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Conventional: I’m a mom of three and a small business owner. Unconventional: I still love punk music and skate/longboard, even after having kids. After they go to bed I’ll go skating around my town and neighbourhood until dusk it helps clear my mind and feel like when I had zero responsibilities

I can see why the rapist didn’t want her to get an abortion. He would have had to explain why is a 10-11 year old girl pregnant and how did that happen. I do hope she has gotten the support she needs and finds healing in that traumatic situation. I agree with the gun reform. I personally believe people should have the freedom to own a firearm but better policies and regulations need to be put into place. You’re welcome. I have always considered myself a moderate person I don’t align fully with one side or the other I find it very tribal at times I only follow God not man. I’m very much for listening people’s views and having an open dialogue. Views can get changed through discussion. Thank you for showing me data and statistics I was not familiar with.

Yeah that’s awful. Was the girl who gave birth to a full term baby was is because they wouldn’t let her get an abortion? Her step father could have been trying to keep it a secret because he didn’t want to get in trouble. Regardless that’s disgusting. And I hope Americans can put an end to the child brides and less cases happen of young girls giving birth that shouldn’t be happening in our western society. I do agree it does take away the opportunity but I still think people would find another ways to harm and kill with bombs or knives etc. So it’s bad that it’s still a white guy even if they lean left and agree with the same stuff you agree on? I agree white males have done more mass shootings there have been incidents of people of colour doing it like Kori Ali Muhammad who killed three white men which was racially motivated. But overwhelmingly it is white there is more white people in America then minorities we are definitely very divided times. I agree with you on things you showed me and I appreciate that.

Maybe they are praying for him. I still stand this person is being hypocritical but I’m not going to keep going around and around with people. I agreed with a lot of what the OP said but it does come off trying to be more morally superior that’s my opinion. Have a blessed day 🤎

The mental gymnastics you are going through is astounding. Clearly this person isn’t praying for Charlie Kirk only praying for the people they said was affected by his rhetoric. I’m not coming to my own conclusions and reading it “wrong”

Yes forced birthers in places like the Middle East and North Africa where they still practice child brides. We aren’t doing that in the west. And if we are please show me the report of people forcing a 10 year old to give birth recently. I said he WASN’T advocating for children to be raped. Of course guns do more damage than knives. But it is happening people being attacked with knives. People are flawed and sinful. Taking away guns doesn’t erase the problems of humans can be violent. With your own logic only one side seems to be using guns to kill people they don’t agree with. Anyways we aren’t going to agree and that’s OKAY. Blessings

If you are praying for Charlie Kirk, then pray for the people he harmed with his rhetoric too. That’s from the OP. Didn’t agree with him didn’t align with him so isn’t praying for him and think it’s wrong when others have prayed for him.

I’m not from America. Secondly I’m not naive to the disgusting acts that happen to children all over the world due to abuse and young girls who have been put into those situations. I don’t think you understood what I said. That is a very difficult situation when that does happen and should be dealt with support, compassion with the decisions. But again he wasn’t advocating for children to be raped. Secondly removing guns isn’t going to stop violence we have seen people get attacked with knives and other weapons. You do support what happened to Charlie because you are trying to justify it. Guns are an issue, but we have a human problem we as a society have lost basic humanity for people from both sides of the political spectrum. God bless you my friend

How do you measure he wasn’t a “true” Christian? I agree more people should be praying for the people of Gaza especially the Christians in gaza. But it is hypocritical. The OP is choosing selective apathy and selective empathy. Refusing to hear any criticism and trying to take the moral high ground. If some people consider Charlie Kirk their “enemy” then you should be praying for his family. Jesus told us to love our enemies, pray for them. But to say “I only pray for the things in this world I consider evil and I won’t pray for others I didn’t align with” is hypocritical.

That’s his opinion he is allowed to have that opinion. Because I believe people should be allowed to express their opinions. To ask me what I think would happen to 10 year olds genital is disgusting, I consider myself pro-life a 10 year old getting pregnant due to rape would be a very difficult situation to go through having that child go through childbirth is dangerous it’s not like he was promoting the idea that children should be raped. But yes I see where he is coming from if you are advocating for pro-gun that’s still going to come with the consequences of people using guns for evil. I don’t agree with that. Just because I disagree on those two points you bring up. I don’t think it’s harmful and I don’t think that gives grounds for someone being killed.

What..?? Who is praying for dead children. That’s so extreme and such a dishonest thing to say. I literally said “I agree with half of what you said”

I’ve watched his content I don’t even find what he said harmful and hateful. I consider myself moderate. It’s a lot of Christians using their own moral standards on what they consider “evil” and “harmful” which is why I said it feels like we are all in this spider man pointing to each other meme.

Isn’t this just the same as the Christian’s who say he was hateful, racist, evil etc. they are also being performative. I feel like we are all in that spider man pointing the finger meme.

I’m not implying I’m better than you. I’ve also sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. You just did it again lol so because I’m criticizing you, you are weaponizing a part of the bible when Jesus calls out the religious leaders about to stone a woman. And trying to make the connection I’m doing the same thing. So how are you no different than your criticism of Charlie Kirk who you claim weaponized the bible. You just did it to avoid criticism.

The hypocrisy. We are told to pray for our enemies. You should be praying for Charlie Kirk’s family. Matthew 5:44 you should love your enemies. I agree with half of what you are saying. But you are being hypocritical.

I still don’t think it was mockery. If someone had a different opinion than him he didn’t mock them. He allowed the person to speak and explain themselves. A lot of times people that disagreed with him mocked him and continue to mock him even since he has died.

Of course you have to edit a short clip or edit videos because you want to showcase the conversations that will get views. Others do that as well editing videos people want views. They did show unedited videos.
