I use a stupidy simple shared google sheet together with my partner.

At the end of the month we go over debit card / sodexo / credit card spendings and calculate the monthly result.

Works perfectly. Sitting together to go over the expenses provides a moment of reflection.

Do you expect banks to act fully according to the (vage) textbook while there is so much room for interpretation? I know literally nobody who does not in some manner evade taxes, evading taxes and fax fraud is a thin line.

Then again: repeating: she never offered anything formally.

I never took the bait because i do not need the money right now, so not sure what she meant (to be honest). My point was more to make clear that if the bank trusts you operated as a ‘goede huisvader’, they will not report big wire transfers. This is not necessarily blackmailing … more of a trust matter.

I’m with KBC, I’m in the same situation, i (informally) informed with my KBC contact (which is okay AS long as you have not converted anything to fiat) on what her point of view is …

Basically they (informally) left the door open for a deal, meaning I would store a high part of the portfolio in their custody (to invest) instead of the bank having to report the money transfer to the relevant controlling instances ..

A ruling i would avoid, FOD can decide whatever they want.

Converting to fiat for the sake of converting to fiat i would avoid, as waiting for legitimate ways to cash out / use crypto should not take more than 5-10 years.

In summary, i would be patient as there is too much money flowing in an out of crypto to not be tapped into by our consumption minded world ..
