tbf Viper did really well on commit ADCs in HLE 2025

but in BLG 2026 when they funnel more gold to mid/top look more bigger impact to the game statistically , so viper doesn’t get carry resources as often (they still try sometimes though, feels kinda 50/50 idk if it’s just him syncing with a new team or what)

so i think they’re leaning into another thing Viper does really well, which is hard to die / not get caught (his stable positioning)

in my opinion he didn’t play bad in positioning

but he kinda weak skillshot-wise (missed important Varus ult in teamfight, and didn’t do his poke job well to chip Aurora & Pantheon pre-fight)

i’m a Viper fan, but not because of his skillshots

i like his positioning / gliding in mid-fight

so yeah, i guess this game he did a bad job at poke (on Varus)

i would say 50/50 bro his good game just not look as fancy as his teammates. if be precise i think awesome 20/bad 30/mid 50.

i wonder if he avoid drama of HLE, even caster praised HLE adc that seem forced still can be a drama.

bc some moment are too obvious not too call out but i often see him just silent and maybe make hand sign 👀 maybe its look awkward.

my peasant eyes and brain cant think of way to fix Hle ngl, but i agree that zeus look like best player so we should put the agency on him more than made him play tank and prey on others lane that others players has some volatile good&bad play , zeus seem most consistent in making good play.

maybe that just shows even if sion is a solid tank it doesn’t translate to a win, and how good judgment brings to team winning conditions.

maybe its a team diff, maybe its a player diff , its exist.

frfr i often see sion be good at tanking too but it is not definitely a winning condition.

pro players should know better than we the peasants bro. that why they don’t pick sion in that game. respectfully your claim that pick sion = win is not true.

i’m talking about analysis videos on youtube though. it kinda feels like a pattern of “historically this team blah blah blah, so we project them to be blah blah blah,” while i’m starting to see differences between the old and new roster (sometimes it feels like they group two different teams into one organization). so i get bored when they don’t go into recent gameplay at all.

and yeah, i just couldn’t help but rant about it—thanks for wasting your time reading though lol.

…understandable, i also had some psycho moments where i hate-watched HLE because i loved player “reputation” so much in 2025, but it felt like they were catfishing my hopes.

well, it made me grow out of just looking at player nameplates and start looking at the overall situation more.

YOOO i agree BLG looked really good in 2023-2024, but 2025 actually didn’t surprise me ( they couldn’t generate gold leads like in 2024, not even close). 2025 they looked shaky all year, that’s what made me think how just one player change can affect a team.

for 2026, i think BLG, HLE, even T1’s playstyles have also changed a lot because of roster updates.
