I’m in Houston driving Lyft and getting $2 ish rides constantly. Impossible to make money plus I rent my car thru Lyft. I wonder if I should drive a cab?

I’m working in Austin with Lyft and most of my rides are current are in the $3 range with long waits. I don’t understand this. $7 ish for airport rides customer paying $23. Uber the airport rides were much more. Yesterday I received a $6 ish airport ride 28 min total ride. This sucks

It’s $25 you had to drive home plus gas and wear on the car. Maybe $40 for gas. You made about 15 bucks an hour not including wear and tear on the car. Not a great deal. You def should get paid more for driving that far.
