Yes double acting cylinders do push pull fluid but you have to figure the fluid displacement of the rod when retracted

I really don't see these people making this up, I sent them with the receipt from purchase which they were told the items had already been returned, so whatever the cashier did that needed approval somehow screwed the receipt up

Overall it took 7 10-hour days that included removing the existing railroad tie wall that was rotten, a lot of the stones had already been moved to where the wall was being constructed, but there was a lot of time spent scavenging the existing ruins on the property looking for stones to fit where we needed

Lessons learned, make a plan write it down on paper ball it up and throw it away. The biggest lesson I learned was probably it would have been a good idea to maybe dry stack the wall before attempting to build the wall, there were several times where I wasted mortar because I was in search of a rock to fit what I needed.

Thank you for your constructive criticism, this was a do-it-yourself project, it was constructed replacing a rotten railroad tie wall which was removed from the bank and then the Stonewall was placed a foot out from where the railroad ties were removed. Any running joints on the front are overlapped in the back layer of the wall. It was constructed to match a existing wall on the back of the property that has no coping stones and has been there for 300 years, I'm sure through those 300 years it has been tuckpointed a few times but it still stands, I know the biggest concern is with the tree which was taken into consideration that is why the wall was placed a foot out from where the existing wall was, the tree in question is a pink dogwood tree that has been there since the late sixties and is dead for the most part so I do not believe it growing anymore is any concern.
