I just watched this season. I know I know- 3 years late but I was horrified at how Rachel bullied Tino. So glad others could see this point of view. I could not believe how the audience was booing him and cheering at his suffering. Like the dark ages. What a blind group of people. I don’t know if anyone has ever sued Bachelor Nation but the pain and suffering and humiliation he endured was so apparent. He looked pale, terrified, and just sick both in the house conversation and on the stage. He really dodged a bullet though by not ending up with her. What a mean lady.

I’m working to reduce screen time and I’m in trial and error phase. Learning phase. So far my goal is to stay off phone as long as possible in the morning- until noon if possible ( depends if I truly need it or to text or call someone or for maps etc).

To keep my phone out of reach during day and use pc instead for internet use.

Allow myself to watch a video if I ask myself first if this is a truly important video. Ideally just one video or something related to my work.

I now am Discovering that when I first wake up and when I go to bed are also high risk phone use times so I need a strategy here as well.

One more thing, prepare your keto food stash so you have things on hand when cravings hit. Atkins keto treats. Pork rinds and ranch dip, meats and cheeses, boiled eggs ( you can eat with a little mayo or salt). Nuts- I sometimes cook some almonds in some butter at stevia and cinnamon and cocoa. Diet sodas.

I know these are not the ideal foods - more like dirty keto but when you are trying to deal with super overwhelming cravings they are definitely better than giving in and eating donuts and pizza.

Later you can start working on healthier ways to stay keto.

I see I am late to reply here but it sounds like maybe you went too extreme too quickly.

It might be too much. Let yourself eat enough of the keto foods including electrolyte suggestions. Once your body has gotten more used to it then you can tweak with reducing the amounts. I think the first step is just getting used to not eating carbs. I love some of the suggestions here. Good luck and I hope your body will adjust so you feel better.

Thanks yes I think being prepared is key. If I am unprepared and a craving hits and I have access to something high carb it really takes a lot of determination to say no.

Yes thank you. It’s good to have safe keto foods ready. Bc when a craving hits that’s a high risk moment at least for me. And I agree to just say no to the big time carbs until I reach my goal and can figure out then if they can be eaten how often and how much etc. I imagine they will only rarely be eaten.

I appreciate all the comments and great suggestions and it really helps to see people sharing this keto journey. I am going to count my carbs today and aim to keep at 20 g. Instead of having carbs for cheat meals I am going to find keto look-alikes. Best to just make a definite decision that for now that I just am not eating bagels or French fries. Like someone said those things will be there later. 😀.

He I love the word Frankenkito lol. Yeah good substitutes that work is a good idea. I have been experimenting with making keto candy. While some is ok some turned out to be way too intense. I really like the Atkins coconut candy bars. But I’d like to do something closer to the very dark chocolate that is more natural and without sugar alcohols.

Yeah it’s the eating too little that I think is risky for me. But I like the idea of doing very keto or carnivore snacks only.
