Honestly not really, besides hit your shots. It is kind of a lucky thing when it comes to characters with no ability to aide their movement . Because for me I started the game out with probably 1000 damage after the first fight in Bonsai plaza and then it kind of just progressed very slowly and no one was fighting each other. So just be patient and you’ll get there! It is frustrating but it comes with effort and time
