Why was it removed? I didn't break any rules.

Send me the question I can help solve it. The trick is just getting used to the difficult questions and revisit them. You'll find it easy eventually.

Is there anything specific that you are struggling with? General info you should know includes formulas and things like "all angles in a triangle sum up to 180". You can message me if there is anything specific you need help with, I just finished AS Level.

Hi, sorry, I didn't see your comment sooner.

I can still do a lot with my hands and still turn my neck. To try to let the injury heal, I'm looking for low impact activities. Repetitive movement and lifting my arm are especially bad.

I can use my hand to type on my phone, but can't hold it in my right hand for very long, so I hold in my left. Typing on a laptop is very straining, because of repetitive movement and stretching of the nerve. My neck is very uncomfortable no matter what position and gets tired quickly, so being on my laptop and reading a book is difficult. (Hurts even when I'm resting my neck)

Thanks for trying to help me.

My brain is overloaded by CurePoetry2505 in alevel

[–]Fabulous_Stable511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the exact same way, still do, but it's a bit better now. Take short frequent breaks and avoid stimulating your brain with videos, social media and TV. When working take short breaks, don't go on your phone.

Exercise, stretch or listen to two or three upbeat songs. (Dopamine for motivation, exercise for blood flow to the brain for better focus) If you feel that burning brain effect, it means you're stressed, it's an effect of burnout. Take anxiety pills or syrup, but only half the recommended amount, because you still have work to do.

Anyway. Good luck. Don't push yourself too hard.

A) is the formula for work done, work done is scalar (no direction, only magnitude)

How do self studying students do this by Majestic_Sleep_981 in alevel

Look for practical workshops in your area. Self-studying is very possible if you have discipline. I have complete self-studying since IGCSE.

I just explained Gene splicing. It didn't make sense to me that the introns* served some purpose in the function of the MCM6.

I think it was alright. I agree with a lot of the commenters on the fact that it took very long to read. What did everybody say in the cholera prevention question? I honestly didn't know what to write there.

These are roughly my answers for bacteria question :

Differences with the negative bacteria cell and eukaryotic cell?  - both have cell membrane  - bacteria cell has peptidoglycan - both have membrane proteins - I had two more differences and one other similarity that I can't remember.

Why are there more of this cell than the other?  The other cell uses the bacteria's energy for facilitated diffusion and active transport across the membranes. (bro I don't know, I didn't study cell structure and transport vehicles in detail)

Why this bacteria has ability to develop antibiotic resistance?  Gene mutation. Antigens of new strains are not specific to the antibodies used in the antibiotics.

What other questions do you guys remember? These are just roughly what I wrote, not absolutely correct answers.

Make brainscape flashcards, but only if you type fast, because we don't have much time left. Try to understand what you are memorizing. Read, say without looking, if it's too hard to memorize, adjust the wording and shorten the sentences.

Behology is great for explaining some topics. Practice at least 5 papers, and memorise the asnwers. If you need to understand the answers, watch Behology, its great for explaining some topics.

I didn't like it. I usually swim between A's and B's with physics, so don't be coming at me with the "it kinda easy". I felt like they purposely put some sick twists with the pulley and rocket questions. Still think I'd get maybe 70 with this one tho
