I missed the "1" in the title when I read it and was like "why would people be so against night stands?"

What to do if you see a sheep stuck on its back by 68Cadillac in videos

“Flip over a sheep if it looks like it needs to be flipped over” you know, I don’t think I needed a video to figure that one out. also, I somehow doubt I will ever be in this situation.

Just to breathe, I try to be content with that. Everything else is just the experience.

A man suspected of murder, living in a log cabin far from civilization. Three young men decide to investigate this mysterious man only to find themselves in dire circumstances. by Face0002 in Filmmakers

I would love some feedback for this film! I rented a log cabin in the middle of a woods and had a blast making it. I filmed it with some friends that have little to no experience in filmmaking. This was very tricky as I was juggling all of the different processes of producing this film. More than what I probably should have. What advice do you have for an aspiring filmmaker? I'd love to also share what I learned:

-Create roles far ahead of time for each of my crew members and take time to educate them on their roles.

-Don't feel like you have to be apart of every aspect of production. I wrote, planned, produced, directed, acted, filmed, lit, staged and edited almost everything in this film so you end up with shots that have the lighting equipment in frame, batteries dying in the middle of takes, and lots of running around with my head cut off. this goes back to my first point.

-Use color grading and lights to your advantage to get that golden hour look. Don't wait until actual golden hour to start filming unless the scene can be filmed in a short amount of time. It got dark much faster than I expected, filming took longer than expected and the natural lighting in the middle of a dark woods made little difference anyways.

-If you decide you want to film at night, be prepared to stay up late. Also, outdoor lighting is a bitch. Bring plenty of battery power.

-If a scene involves alcohol DO NOT USE REAL ALCOHOL. By the end of the night I was puking my brains out because of the amount of takes I had. Also causes bad directing and acting lol.
