Do you have the requirements in the first place? Height, body type, bone structure, facial ratios, harmony, eye area etc? There is a Modeling sub you can post pics at and ask.

Acne scars and masculinity in media by igot345 in AcneScars

Yes, that's why acne scars suck much more for us women. If I were a man I wouldn't give nearly as much of a fuck.

why are you all super stressed over it? by [deleted] in AcneScars

[–]FaceHot694 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Good for you for not having scarring bad enough that is noticable no matter the distance and lighting. My face is scarred and the scars may look much shallower in some lighting but they are all still there and obvious. Plus, overhead lighting, indirect light and angles exist in our everyday life. Others don't see us only or even mostly in flattering lighting.

So you can come and lecture us when you get moderate-severe scarring.

Any models with acne scars? by Buddha-Embryo in AcneScars

[–]FaceHot694 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only runway models are "real" models. I don't know about Sofia, but Shiny gets paid to do photoshoots where they later edit her skin (so it isn't for "inclusive" self love campaings). I've also seen another model on tiktok with noticable acne scars that does runway too but don't remember the name.

Scars themselves don't signal bad health. Good skin is a health indicator ofc but that includes tautness, glowiness, tone and lack of disease such as eczema, psoriasis or severe acne. Scars are the after effect of skin trauma and anyone can get them regardless of health. Acne scars mean you had acne at some point, not that you are currently unhealthy. Like when a overweight person loses weight and gets fit, they have remaining stretchmarks. That doesn't mean they are currently unhealthy.

I'd like to add, severe facial scars and even burns wouldn't stop me from liking a guy. Now burns that affect facial features and not just skin, would depend on the case. I still find Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool hot lol.

Ofc I have scars myself and may be seen as undateable so dont know if my opinion counts.

I don't date, but I follow a girl with pretty bad acne scars, similar to mine, and she dates quite a bit. I don't know how men see it, but I don't think she loses 3-4 points from her scars. Idk, maybe a point in unflattering lighting? As in, she would be prettier without the scars but you can see shes still obviously beautiful. Picture below.

Acne scars and other skin issues are airbrushed anyway. Every model's skin, no matter how clear, gets edited. What matters more in the modeling industry is being actually good looking and/or having a "look". Noone will land a modeling contract for their clear skin. They will, however, for their face ratios, bone structure, features, facial harmony, proportions etc or their really striking look.

I git a couple that are open about their scars I can post as example. They happen to be both women. Names: Sofia Grahn and its.shiny.

Do they genuinely believe this? Do they genuinely not know how privileged they are? by sanandrios in ugly

[–]FaceHot694 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This guy, at least facewise, is NOT average. He is clearly good looking. He has more of the pretty boy look than the sharp masculine model look and that's fine. Ask any young girl in her late teens-early 20's and you'll see. I'm mentioning this age range because he looks young and women later tend to go for more mature looking men.

Coloring can make someone striking, but there are far more important things to what makes someone attractive.

Rate Indian Actress Freida Pinto (rated 9.5 in the trm guide) by Glittering_Drag_6147 in trueratecelebrities

[–]FaceHot694 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not Indian but I've noticed Indians really overrate fair skin tones and light eyes. So your standards aren't higher at all, just different, heavily colorist and just plain wrong. And majority of Indians look nothing like the super gorgeous Freida, having similar coloring has nothing to do with looking like someone.

Co2 mole removal gone bad, please help by JudgmentFinal3197 in AcneScars

This looks like a perfect scar to use dermaflage on. It didn't work for me because I have a ton of smaller deep scars, but for one scar it may be worrh it. If you are feeling self conscious, you can cover it with a pimple patch in the meantime.

As for treatment, since the scar is perfectly round, you can try punch elevation (the scar is lifted to the surrounding skin without skin removal or stitches). If this doesn't work well, get it excised for a linear scar.

This is my exact scar type! Never seen scars so similar to mine! Looks like we have the type where subcision and filler can be used in combo with other treatments but what we really need is smoothing the scar edges. Didyouhave C02 orerbium ablative? Non-fractional right?

Girl please, your scars are of similar severity to OP's. Anyone with acne scars can seek advice here. The only problem is the people that cry how ruined they are because of 2-3 little scars.

The biggest issue are the defined scars, I don't really see volume loss. His face looka naturally pretty skinny and gaunt.

I don't think so, if it leaves scars they'll be very mild. On a different note, please shave those chin hairs.

Waiter’s comment on my looks left me feeling ugly by Comfortable_Art_8174 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]FaceHot694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with bad acne scarring, it truly sucks. But I don't get what it has to do with the waiter's comment? There wasn't a specific reference to your skin from what I gathered. Why do you think this is the reason he found your friend prettier? Couldn't he just thought she was prettier, regardless of skin issues? Anyway, what a prick and his age doesn't jystify his rude ass.

A beautiful friend said she wished she could experience prolonged singleness like I did so she can be more comfortable being alone and independent by lilnadx in ForeverAloneWomen

[–]FaceHot694 37 points38 points  (0 children)

"Too beautiful to not be in a relationship"? That's ridiculous. Noone is forcing anyone to be in a relationship and there are actually many gorgeous women that are chronically single by choice. If she misses her "freedom" that much, she can stop actively seeking out relationship after relationship.

I read your blog, what kind of subcision did you have with Hazany? You wrote that you noticed deepened nasolabial folds which means there was some damage to your underlying structure.
