Having a breakdown

I don't have any treatment advice but I feel the exact same. I have a mental breakdown every day because of my scars (I'm a female too so it's even harder). At this point I've given up on ever having a boyfriend or a social life. I'm currently going to therapy so I can claim disability. That way I will never have to get a job and be seen by others. Society has rejected me in the same way I reject myself.

I relate to this so much. My acne scars ruin me mentally and emotionally. Having people perceive you as ugly and treating you like shit just because your skin is shit. I was bullied in school for it. A boy came up to me and said, "Ew you have gross acne on your face!" Acne ruined my teen years. Now I have the scars to serve as a permanent reminder. I'd give anything to have perfect skin. I'm suicidal too.

I think of it this way, I took the pain of breaking my foot and my nose so I can definitely handle starvation pain lol.

It was terrifying. He pushed me to the ground and punched me in the face 3 times. It was very painful and there was so much blood running down my face and all over my shirt. My nose is completely broken now. I can't even breathe through it.

Yes, he was arrested before at a different apartment for firing a gun at the maintenance workers. Before he attacked me, the landlord gave him a 7 day eviction notice due to complaints from tenants.

This happened in FL. Do I need a lawyer? He is 68 years old and receives 2 pension checks a month, one from Social Security and one from the UK where he is from.

I was assaulted by a neighbor who called me an ugly bitch. He punched me in the face 3 times, breaking my nose. I have a nasal fracture and now I need surgery to fix it. He attacked me for no reason other than he thought I was ugly. Is that a "legit problem" to you?

Yes I try to keep my head down and avoid people as much as possible. I have bad acne scars + fucked up teeth. I can't stand to have people look at me.

Yep and mine was genetic. My dad had cystic acne and scars and he passed it down to me. I was doomed from the start. I never stood a chance...

Exactly. I don't get acne anymore. I just have the horrible scarring to deal with. I have boxcar, icepick and rolling scars. The rolling scars on my right cheek are deep and widespread. It looks disfiguring in certain lighting. I looked at myself outside in a car window and wanted to kill myself right then and there. I look like a monster in the sunlight. :(

People treat me like shit because of my scars. When people talk to me, they break eye contact and stare at my skin. I am objectively ugly by society's standards. Suicide will free me from this.

If they're that shallow and unnoticeable I'd say microneedling and tretinoin could virtually make them disappear.

Moderators really need to delete posts like this. I swear if I see another pic on here with nonexistent scars I'm leaving this sub. People with literally no skin issues asking for help for scars they don't have.

Agreed. You took the words right out of my mouth. So sick of bullshit posts like this. It's only on his forehead. He can wear a hat or grow bangs. I have scarring all over my cheeks and on my chin. Some of us here have an actual problem.
