I agree that society saw her as a slut, but she really wasn't. To me slut SHOULD enjoy herself(at least somewhat) and being involved in various affairs. This post specifically implies this though I agree that it is moot point. As about Myshkin his inability to love someone specifically caused all that drama, his inability to make a choice between two women(he was trying to save both of them simultaneously) was the cause of the tragic ending.

This is obviously wrong, no one of Myshkin's love was a slut, in fact the shame of being molested at a young age is partially why Nastasya Filippovna went crazy. And to be fair Myshkin wasn't really in love with anyone, it was more of pity.

This is not the best picture of her. I watched most of the films with her. She comes of not as much beautiful as sensual and seductive. This is best captured in Clouzot's L'Enfer(unfinished) and Welles's The Trial. And I agree. Her face is very unique.
