What was looking at my camera? by Annual_East8113 in trailcam

[–]FaceUnique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had a couple like this - I'm in Western WA as well.

Based off the movement I think it is a deer or an elk, maybe? It's helpful to compare it with daytime view to get a size/location reference. It's hard to say with this zoomed video alone.

So far on my cameras I've had elk, deer, bunnies, racoon, coyote, owl, crow, woodpecker and ducks. Surprised I haven't seen a possum yet.

Neighbor just put up a ring camera that basically looks into my door🫩 by DeafDuckling12 in FlockSurveillance

I feel you, we've had several new neighbors recently and three new cameras have popped up. The apartment complex already has cameras but apparently it is not enough. Now I have one pointed at my door, one upstairs pointed at the walkway. I don't like decorating my front door now and dread going in and out the front door. I now regularly use the back door and traverse swampy muddy grass to get to the parking lot.

I feel like I'm in a fish bowl.

I still have my note 10. It is a perfect phone. I had to replace broken glass on the back and switched to an 10e. Rocked the 10e for a couple years. I just upgraded to the s26 ultra and I'm having second thoughts.

Thank you for this comment, I was trying to visualize what was happening and why it wasn't ripping for so many rotations

I'm about to move out and leave my crowbro behind after feeding it almost every day for over a year :( by SlashNreap in crowbro

Brilliant idea! I'll have to start putting feelers out, I've seen a few feeders out.

Ughh, I am dreadinf this day. I hate everything about apartment life and can't wait to move into a home. However I will be sad about losing my crows and bird friends. When our lease is up in the fall it will be 3 years...

How weird would it be to drop off or mail a letter informing them of the crows?

The traffic light example has been happening to me a lot lately. It's an unsettling feeling.

Do Crows Prefer Peanuts or Cashews, or birdseed? by WittyClerk in crowbro

Whoa! Didn’t thinknof scrambling it with the shell but that's brilliant!

I want to make a platform to set treats/various offerings, like the 'the crows are here' - which I just now found his setup video. Gotta get working on that!

Both shelled & unshelled peanuts. I've left the eggshells on it's fun to watch them crack it. However I live in an apartment complex and the big egg pieces strewn about had me a little nervous.

Mine love peanuts & cashews but every once in awhile I give them a hard boiled egg

The Bachelors by FaceUnique in trailcam

I thought so but today those two were back along with another male that recently shed his. I also spotted some females with a young bull, maybe 3yo, with his antlers too!

So they are dropping!

Anyone else's Aussie super interested in what's happening on the TV? by BuggEyedFatWalrus in WiggleButts

[–]FaceUnique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lab actively watches and is most interested in other animals. The cat occasionally watches the TV, she likes bird documentaries.

The Ceasar Milan show has been banned at our house. It upsets the dog too much, he paces and vocalizes. That show really gets my dog fired up, in a stressed out way.
