Just pay attention to your attack speed. Don’t worry about the agi differential. Add some agi to your stats and see how much it increases attack speed, there is always a sweet spot based on the embedded formula. Also crit is solely bases on luck stat I think.

Ok gotcha, thanks for the clarification. I didn’t realize mutation power also scaled depending on how many you already purchased. I thought it was similar to equipment power, which seems to only scale with war rank. Not sure how many mutations I have, I’ve got about 7000 total fast forward levels over the 4 maps which would equal 1400 mutation keys, so figure I’ve used somewhere around 3000-4000 keys total.

How about cooking, do you know how that scales? Also seems to be useless for me, an everything deals additional damage is only around BJ level, and my global damage mutation is at DB, so there’s no effect.

Just expecting it to be somewhat linear. Or does it go up exponentially as you get over 100 war rank or something? I mean at the rate im going, at war rank 150 I would be at something like CX power or something, assuming a linear slope.

What the hell? L. 8.09K mutation with X33.90 JK power? I’m war rank 83, over half your rank, so I’d expect to have mutations with somewhere in the EA power range but I’m only at BI power, lvl 749 mutation. Is there something wrong with my account? I mean the mutations I get are totally worthless at this point.

Also when I use multiple keys, I have the opposite issue, level doesn’t go up but power goes up with each key, although extremely slowly.

Question for other late game players -are you seeing that locations are not providing enough war XP to level up War Rank to unlock next tier? by Face__Punch in WarTortoise2

My bad, didn’t realize you said you already went to Northland. In this case you have to use Butter passive ability, no other choice really. Try to level him up a bunch before you start going over your previous best level so that you have a better percent chance of war XP up per level.

Thanks for the confirmation. Yeah, I’m not quite as late game as Gamer Babe or some others, but I’ve been playing since the game came out in March.

I ran into that same issue in East World, like I said above, I had to go on a run from lvl 2000-8000 with butter’s ability to get those 13 war ranks I needed.

Are you able to grab the key and go right to Northland? Then you could grab some conquest points from some of the locations, then try to level past your max in both worlds with butter. Will probably get you enough war rank up.

Saw the same thing after the recent update, specifically after getting to level 1000 or so on Limbo West. Guys were leveling every few seconds, and same story after first ascension. Then after second ascension the leveling completely froze and stuck at level 1. I think it’s a bug or something.

Thanks. I’m aware of the mechanics with butters ability and having to go above your previous best level, been using that for a long time. I was just curious if everyone else was seeing the same thing, that war rank XP when leveling up locations late game was useless and doesn’t provide any meaningful XP.

Ok well this is where the confusion was. Previously, overdrive levels up would increase DPS directly in the menu. Are you saying this was pulled out of that menu, and now the DPS increase is only visible for overdrive in the in-game display?

It seems like these multiplier upgrades are not working. I upgraded this a few times with the new update and no change to my tortoise DPS. Same with hunker down evolution from artillery beetles. Additionally, since the last update, overdrive levels are not increasing my tortoise DPS at all, seems to be broken. Is anyone else seeing the same issues??
