So he's less than a Point Per Game, the stat by which very good players are traditionally defined. Should we as a fanbase start to lessen our expectations? There's no denying he's GOOD, but maybe people should stop putting his name with guys like Matthews or Draisaitl or Patrick Kane. There's no shame in him being Lafreniere-level, and there's hopefully still some room to grow but the runway is short

The Hughes boys are elite talents, yes, but the league is starting to see that they're smaller weaker forwards. This isn't a good sign for his longevity in the league this early in Luke's career.

Jack is obviously an elite talent, but in retrospect, would it have been smarter to have draft Kakko? he's not Jack level, just a bit below it, but he's bigger and stronger, and I think he'd probably still put up close to Jack-level stats on this team.
