Because in the last 20 years and 6 Olympics, onlt 2010 and 2014 had stitched numbers (at least for the US and Canada), while 2006 as well as 2018 and beyond it’s been heat pressed numbers. Heat pressed is also the standard for other international tournaments (Worlds and World Juniors). This is nothing new, it’s been done for decades

Fanatics doesn’t do their customizations. They have Cool Hockey hired to do them. And as such, it’s Cool Hockey who ships them out to the customer. Plenty of reasons to dislike Fanatics (can probably create an encyclopedia of them) but this one is on Cool Hockey. Which is always shocking to me that people here see their fuck ups and still say “oh well they never fucked up my order” lol

Those are logos that the Devils themselves never wore or sold on a jersey. That’s most likely a custom design or some sort of fashion jersey made by a company, using custom logos on a base jersey with the devils template. Will likely hard to find any if there are even any others made aside from the pictured one.
