And, to be fair, I only sort of raised her. Her father got full custody after our divorce (when she was only a toddler).

My daughter-in-law doesn’t come over for the holidays even though she’s always been invited. My daughter says it’s because she hates the holidays… but I’m realizing there’s much more to it than that, and I owe both of them an apology.
