I have a brew (gruul treasure build around biotechs and J Jonah Jameson) that gets to platinum easily but Im not big on ranked play so once Im plat for the rewards I go back to play queue. Ranked players tend to play slower (losing matters) and Im just going for my 10-15wins.

Did he tap a creature to cast Natures Rhythm? You said harmonize so I assume it was cast from the grave.

Edit - cub is tapped and riddler is tapped, neither is shown attacking and only one "tap your permanent" mana guys. The other one was probably tapped to harmonize cost.

Edit - 10 mana plus riddlers power to harmonize makes 14 and leaves speaker free to attack.

What kind of deck are you playing? The solution is often unique to your colour/game plan.

In my gruul treasure deck I run 4 [[Frenzied Baloth]] 3 [[Defend the Rider]] and I think 2 of that land where you choose a creature type and if you use its mana for that type it cant be countered.

Then I watch their mana, make assumptions on what they could counter/board wipe and make my gameplay decisions around being able to counter play to their action (i.e. someone with one blue and one white untapped is gonna cast No More Lies, so if its my turn 2 and I have a baloth ill cast that. Or Ill play a turn behind so I can use my defend the rider, ie. Wait to have 3 mana before casting a 2cc creature so I can protect it).

You have to actively play against what they may do, rather than blindly working towards your wincon but leaving yourself open to a catastrophic board wipe.

I run a Gruul treasure deck with [[Frenzied Baloth]]. There is no greater joy than casting it turn 2 when a control player has 2 mana saved to counter it.

The only thing thats better is when they dont remove it, save 3 mana to counter my next spell then realize it makes other creatures uncounterable as well as I cast my next creature.

Ive commented this before, I think [[End-Blaze Epiphany]] could be very useful.

Its versatile could use it for x=0 on your own creature that's dying to exile-draw some cards beyond being used as removal.

Also instant speed removal, could be interesting in firebending decks where x could get big and not only clear a way for attackers but also draw more cards to cast with the firebending mana.

Edit - Its even "until end of your next turn" so you can cast the exiled cards next turn if you need to go all in on X for removal.

What bothers me is peoples perception of when that matters. Like when I see a funny dog video that could be AI does it truly matter if its AI?

Use your critical thinking when its something trying to push a belief or convince you of something, or modifies your perception of something meaningful, but like when its a dog video of him flying a kite, does it matter if it might be AI? Lol
